Kickstands
The frame does not have a dedicated kickstand mount, because most of our customers prefer a cleaner look without an extra bracket. We have tested aftermarket clamp-on kickstands, but they proved unreliable on bikes carrying heavy luggage. Under that load only a factory-integrated mount gives the necessary stability; a clamp-on stand can shift and damage the frame’s paintwork. For this reason we cannot recommend a kickstand at this time.
Can I fit a clamp-on kickstand to my Booda Bike?
We do not recommend it. The frame has no kickstand mount, and in our tests clamp-on kickstands were not reliable under heavy luggage: the stand can shift and damage the paintwork. Paint damage caused by an aftermarket kickstand is not covered by warranty.
