Rohloff serial number
Every Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 carries a unique, sequential serial number on its housing, either on a sticker or laser-engraved. The number shows the hub’s year of production and identifies your hub.

Why it matters
Section titled “Why it matters”- Warranty and service: Rohloff identifies the hub by its serial number for every service and warranty repair.
- Proof of ownership: if your bike is stolen, the number helps to identify the hub.
Write the number down and keep it with your purchase invoice.
Warranty
Section titled “Warranty”For warranty on your Booda, including the Rohloff hub, we are your contact. What the warranty covers and how to make a claim is explained in What does the warranty cover?
What do I need my Rohloff hub's serial number for?
The serial number identifies your hub and its year of production. Rohloff identifies the hub by it for service and warranty work, and it proves ownership, for example if the bike is stolen. Never remove the sticker.
