Tire Pressure
Recommended Tire Pressure & Sealant Setup Guide
Section titled “Recommended Tire Pressure & Sealant Setup Guide”To ensure optimal performance, comfort, rolling resistance, and puncture protection, setting the right tire pressure and sealant volume is essential.
Tire Setup & Maintenance Standards
Section titled “Tire Setup & Maintenance Standards”- Tubeless Setups: All our tubeless-ready configurations use Effetto Mariposa Vegetalex plant-based liquid sealant. It provides durable, eco-friendly self-healing puncture protection. We recommend checking and topping up sealant levels every 3 to 6 months.
- Tubed Setups: For tires requiring inner tubes, we exclusively fit high-performance, ultra-lightweight TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) inner tubes. TPU tubes significantly lower rolling resistance and offer superior pinch-flat protection compared to traditional butyl tubes.

How to Fine-Tune Your Tire Pressure
Section titled “How to Fine-Tune Your Tire Pressure”- Rider & Total System Weight: Lighter riders should aim for the lower end of the recommended pressure range for better compliance and grip. Heavier riders or fully loaded bikepacking setups should run higher pressures towards the upper limit.
- Terrain & Riding Surface: When moving from smooth asphalt to loose gravel, sand, or forest trails, drop pressure by roughly 0.2 – 0.4 bar to enlarge the contact patch and maximize traction.
- First-Time Tubeless Setup: When mounting a new tire, we recommend using slightly more sealant (towards the upper end of the suggested ml/dl range) to properly coat the inner casing and bead gaps.
