Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This policy explains the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers who purchase goods from Booda Bike at a distance, such as through the online store. It does not limit any mandatory rights you may have when goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Right of withdrawal
Section titled “Right of withdrawal”If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from an eligible distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
For a contract for goods, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods. If one order is delivered in multiple shipments, the period generally starts when the final item or shipment is received.
How to exercise your right
Section titled “How to exercise your right”To withdraw, send an unequivocal statement explaining your decision to:
Email: info@boodabike.com
Please include your name, order number and the goods concerned so that we can identify and process the request. You do not need to provide a reason. It is sufficient to send your withdrawal statement before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
Do not send goods back before receiving return instructions and the applicable return address from Booda Bike.
Reimbursement
Section titled “Reimbursement”If you validly withdraw, we will reimburse payments received from you for the returned goods, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express delivery, the additional delivery cost is not reimbursed.
Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.
We will use the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree to another method. You will not incur a fee from Booda Bike for the reimbursement. Where the original payment method cannot technically receive a refund, we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative.
Returning the goods
Section titled “Returning the goods”You must send or hand back the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day return period expires.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless Booda Bike agrees otherwise or applicable law requires Booda Bike to bear that cost. Contact us before arranging a return, particularly for bicycles or other bulky goods, so that we can provide appropriate shipping and packaging instructions.
You are responsible only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. You may inspect the goods as you reasonably could in a shop, but riding, installing, modifying or using them beyond what is necessary for inspection may reduce the refund where permitted by law.
Exclusions from the right of withdrawal
Section titled “Exclusions from the right of withdrawal”The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods that:
- are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised;
- are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; or
- were sealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
Other statutory exclusions may apply depending on the goods or services purchased. We will explain the relevant exclusion where applicable. These exclusions do not remove mandatory rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods.
Business purchases
Section titled “Business purchases”The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal described above applies to consumers: natural persons acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession. It generally does not apply to purchases made by companies, organisations or individuals acting for business purposes, including purchases invoiced with business details. Any return of a correctly supplied business purchase is subject to Booda Bike’s prior written agreement and does not affect any mandatory rights concerning faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Section titled “Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods”The 14-day withdrawal process is separate from your rights when goods are faulty, damaged in delivery, incorrectly supplied or not as described. In those cases, contact info@boodabike.com with your order number and details of the issue. Mandatory consumer guarantee and warranty rights remain unaffected.
Contact
Section titled “Contact”For withdrawal or return questions, contact info@boodabike.com before sending any goods.
